The appointed person must inspect, maintain, and perform all preventive maintenance on Jetways.

They must also perform preventive maintenance on all sliding glass doors, fire extinguishers, perimeter doors, and airside doors of the terminals and lobbies at the designated airport.

It is important for interested individuals to know that they must be available to work nights, holidays, and weekends, but at the same time, it comes with other substantial benefits.

To perform as a Maintenance Mechanic-Aviation, a minimum of two years of experience in industrial or commercial maintenance working on large equipment and mechanical systems is required.

Preferably, they should have welding certification and experience in loading bridges, generator maintenance, and mechanical gate maintenance.

They must also present Special Certifications and Licenses such as a valid Florida Class E driver’s license with the authority to drive a county vehicle for the duration of employment.
