In one of the United States cities, an important decision has been announced. The decision is to open new spaces for interviews by the Customs and Border Protection Office (CBP) at all Michigan centers.

According to official sources, the interviews are aimed at the Trusted Traveler Program (TTP), which protects those who enroll in it by saving them time at airports and border crossings.

Those who join the TTP program must register and open an account on Trusted Traveler. Once registered, they should select the “Schedule Appointment” option, and in this way, they will know if reservations are available according to their location and choose the date and time.

It was also announced that the centers for making these registrations are located at the Sault Ste, Detroit, Port Huron, and Romulus entry ports, all located in Michigan.

They also inform those who did not have time to register before that it is not a problem as there is a possibility of doing so through Enrollment on Arrival (EoA), which is a CBP program aimed at those interested in Global Entry and Nexus, also programs to expedite procedures for travelers.

Other clarifications made are directed that at any time of the day, accounts can be reviewed to know the status of their application, as well as schedule appointments and review notifications.

Likewise, they can be aware of the expiration of their account, the renewal of the same, and the update of documents if necessary.

This constitutes a viable option for those within the Trusted Traveler Program to have opportunities to access interviews to request entry into the United States without fear of being prey to human trafficking.

Similarly, for the Customs and Border Protection Office (CBP), it benefits as it streamlines the procedures and is carried out in an organized manner.
