FINCIMEX announced through its Facebook social network that, in honor of Mother’s Day, from May 7 to May 10, it will be offering free money transfers to Cuba.

How will the transfers be made?

The transfers will be carried out through tocopay.com, a platform that manages money transfers to Cuba from any other country in the world. Here is a guide on how to make transfers with Tocopay.

To make money transfers through tocopay, the sender must have an international card which can be (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or UnionPay).

The Cuban beneficiary must have an AIS card, Classic Card, or MLC Card from Banco Popular de Ahorros (BPA), Banco Metropolitano, or Banco de Crédito y Comercio (BANDEC). After a successful first transfer, the sender can request the issuance of an AIS or CLASSIC card for the beneficiary.

Steps to Access the Free Money Transfer Promotion for Mother’s Day on the Platform:

  1. Go to the platform’s webpage by accessing this link.
  2. Register on the platform with the required information for both the sender and the beneficiary; after verifying the data, you will be able to access the services with a PIN or security key that will allow the money transfers to be made.
  3. You will need to fill out a series of fields before confirming the money transfer.
  4. Select as the type of transfer the CLASSIC card, the option through which the money transfers to Cuba will be made free of charge.
  5. Enter the payment currency of your choice in another field and the amount being sent.
  6. Add the beneficiary of the money transfer and the corresponding card or account.
  7. Confirm that the details are correct and proceed to make the transfer.
