The retail store Target has recently issued a statement with news about the Target Circle loyalty program in a new membership plan, to be implemented next April.
The information was released last Tuesday, March 5th of this year, and establishes new membership options including a free enrollment option that will allow guests to choose their shopping and savings process.
The company refers to the plans being prepared this year for the new expansion stores of its own brands, offering innovative proposals as well as an enhanced experience for clientele.
With the goal of leveraging the success of its industry-leading Target Circle membership program, the company is expanding its portfolio of own brands worth over $30 billion.
CEO Brian Cornell has stated that for many years, the company has been laying the groundwork by investing in assets that have differentiated the business, allowing it to offer guests good service in support of effective development.
Today, with that same long-term vision, we are making strategic investments that expand our core strengths, further elevate our guest experience, and deepen our connection with both current and new customers. Most importantly, these plans provide fuel for our next era of growth.
Cornell noted
The new plan, under the name Target Circle 360, will launch next April 7th of this year with a loyalty membership program aimed at improving the user experience in terms of shopping and savings.
Target Circle is one of the most important loyalty programs in the retail sector -with more than a hundred members- and according to the new changes, it continues to offer its popular free membership with personalized offers and exclusive sales for its members throughout the year, in addition to additional advantages and savings.
Offers will now automatically apply at the end of the shopping process, so there is no longer a need to search for or add individual offers.
It is also possible to earn Target Circle rewards and take advantage of personalized offers through vouchers of the same name. If the customer wants to have a much more effective savings experience, then they can apply for a Target Circle1 card (formerly known as Target RedCard) with which they will get an additional 5 percent discount every day.
Additionally, they will have added time to return items, as well as free two-day shipping on selected items by the user.
On the other hand, enrollment in Target Circle 360 provides a new membership modality that includes unlimited free same-day delivery for orders over $35 dollars in just one hour without delivery charges or margins.
It also includes free two-day shipping of items, in addition to access to preferred shoppers who can personalize their experience and access the Shipt Marketplace.
According to the company’s statement, it is planned over time to implement new benefits such as partnerships and exclusive experiences, product offers, and other options.
Target Circle will have a special offer for new members at a cost of $49 dollars a year during the extension period from April 7 to May 18, while those who do not have a Target Circle card will pay a cost of $99 dollars per year.
The new Target Circle experience has been designed to be flexible and grow with our consumers to offer more value and ease, no matter how they choose to shop with us, so that each visit feels personal, rewarding, and made just for you.
stated Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Experience Officer at Target, Cara Sylvester.
